Over the years, our young company has grown by leaps and bounds. Here is the short story encapsulating our growth so far.

It all started when Srikanth Iyer, Jawahar and G.S.Ravi's entrepreneurial prowess led them to establish Edurite Technologies, which provides e-learning content to students through CD-ROMs.

| 2002 |
By now, we were well-respected in the e-learning segment and enjoyed high institutional sales and in India and abroad. We deiced to sell our CD-ROMs in retail stores and also developed content for Karnataka State government.

| 2003 |
After fortifying our reputation in the retail segment, we further expanded in the supplemental education segment by launching Edurite Tutorials-technology-enabled tutorial service.

| 2007 |
This was a big year for us. TutorVista, global online tutoring company, acquired Edurite Technologies with the aim of effectively leveraging combined resources and market know-how. This was also the year we launched iClassroom - a classroom solution that combines state-of-the-art hardware with multimedia content.

| 2008 |
Post the acquisition, Edurite Technologies was renamed as Manipal K-12 Education Pvt. Ltd. with the Manipal Group joining forces to launch Manipal School Services. Rebranding activities were in full swing.

| 2009 |
We continued to expand our foothold in the market with the acquisition of Tandem - Kerala's premier tutorials company. Also this year, we celebrated the unveiling of the first Manipal School.

| 2010 |
This was another milestone year for us with rapid expansion in market share and workforce. We rebranded iClassroom as DigiClass, which has been successful in schools and engineering colleges. We collaborated with many state governments on a number of IT initiatives, effectively introducing rural India to the benefits of IT-enabled education.
We ended the year with 12 schools (in India and abroad); 2000+ classrooms utilising the DigiClass solution (in India and abroad); and over 70 tutorial centres in Karnataka and Kerala.

| 2011 |
This year has started off with a bang. Pearson, world's largest education company, has acquired majority stake in our company-making us Pearson Education Services Pvt. Ltd. This propitious development gives us access to Pearson's global resources, expertise, content and reach.
This year, we also acquired SMARTHINKING.COM, a US-based online tutoring company.

Pearson completes 100% acquisition of our company. We are now a step closer towards establishing ourselves as the leading education service and technology-enabled company in India, offering global standards of education to Indian students, at affordable prices.
